On Saturday, August 17th, our President, Joe Fodera, was invited to speak at the monthly meeting of the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Sisters In Crime’s Writer’s Group. The local chapter is called “The Mavens of Mayhem” and the meeting was held at the Bethlehem Library. The group was very interested in hearing about Joe’s experiences in the NYPD and, more importantly, how he became a licensed Private Investigator and some interesting stories about the work we do. The group was wonderful and the members asked a lot of very good questions. Joe enjoyed speaking and chatting with all of the members and thank them for allowing him the privilege of being their invited speaker for this meeting! The Mavens of Mayhem present a large symposium for mystery writers each year called "Murderous March", which will be held in Troy, New York.
